Medical School Scholarship Program
To encourage more medical students to choose family medicine as their area of practice, and to help address the doctor shortage we are experiencing in Canada, Takeda proudly supports the education of six undergraduate medical students in Ontario each year.
Developed in consultation with the Ontario College of Family Physicians, this scholarship is open to medical students who are enrolled at a medical school in Ontario and who choose to specialize in family medicine. Our donation supported the establishment of the Takeda Graduate Student Award and is intended to provide financial support to exceptional students who are entering graduate studies in the field of Respirology at the University of Toronto.
